Hey y’all, I’m Coretta Troxler, a creative, connector, and the heart behind Carbon Black DC.

 

What started as a passion project to create meaningful, personalized pieces for my family and friends quickly grew into a bold, unapologetic brand rooted in culture, community, and creativity. As a Black woman, a single mom, and a lifelong hustler from DC, I know the power of showing up in style and on purpose.

 

Carbon Black DC is my love letter to the city that raised me and the people who inspire me daily. Every custom shirt, tumbler, or hoodie is made with intention—and a little extra sauce. I’m not just designing apparel; I’m helping folks express themselves, celebrate their stories, and make a statement without saying a word.
